Hello world, I’m Aasim Rizvi. My name is pronounced AW-SIM, but most people call me AWE-SOME and I have no problem with that =). I’m the new Assistant Web Developer at Gas Creative Group. I have been working here for about two weeks and it has been a great learning experience so far. In these two weeks, I have gotten to know most of my co-workers and learned amazing new concepts for web design and creativity. I’m very impressed by everyone’s different ideas and the little “family” we have here.
A little about myself:
My major is Computer Information Systems.
My favorite color is sea green.
I enjoy the smell of a new car.
Progress: So far I have been working side by side with Nick Galarneau, who is our current Web Developer. He is teaching me the basics of Joomla!, PHP, and other basics of HTML/CSS and web design. I’m also transferring content from the current ASI website to our future ASI website. Essentially, we decided as a team that we need to build and design a new website for ASI so it is accessible for everyone and at the same time encompasses creativity and design.
I feel very confident and excited for this new website. I’m looking forward to the outcome and the launching. I have a very good feeling this is going to be something great. Something special. Something for everyone to be a part of!
